Like sure there's def games that the criticism of feeling too corporate or inconsequential applies to just these invented terms just get used as blanket terms and feel low effort and then they get ran into the ground

Damn huh one of my best years for gaming was also my college graduation year (knocked out a re-playthrough of the entire DMC series, beat Persona 4, played a bunch of stuff that actually came out that year, etc)
