This sedum got damaged from a fall and mostly died off. Over the last three months, the sedum has mostly died off except two small clusters and one leaf from the third. The die-off from the two clusters stopped last month, but today, that one remaining leaf has started to root and stem.

Mushroom grow kit is starting to turn and cap, and I’m thinking about letting one cluster go far enough to collect some spores and try propagating it manually.

One of my stress responses is to dive deeply into some manual project. The last few months have been triggering that a lot. Finally won a discussion with the building association to turn the courtyard into a community garden. Next fight is a compost bin and bird feeder. Plants are almost ready to go

Given I-40 still being out after the hurricane, had to take a different route to go back to NC this time. Which, on the way back, gave me the opportunity to stop by a particular monument and just barely avoid a snowstorm.

Sometimes you make a TTRPG prop that is meant to be merely representative. You’re short on time and use the Draconic font from Skyrim and write plot-relevant secrets for content. You forget that at least some of your players are the same kinds of nerds who know the font. Good for them in the end.
