I love the new Apple TV ident — or "sonic logo". I don't love the insinuation that CG is "fake", a "shortcut". There's just as much craft, and art, in computer graphics (disregarding genAI) as there is in practical effects; both have their place in visual storytelling.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to secure funding — publishers told us "there's no market for turn-based RPGs" — and so we went back to the drawing board and came back with a VERY different game, in a VERY similar setting. So what was The Bad Lands all about? I'll share more…soon! (2/2)

Before Dustborn there was THE BAD LANDS — a post-apocalyptic American road-trip, featuring a ragtag crew with special powers. And if that sounds familiar…you're absolutely right! TBL was a fixed-camera, turn-based RPG with a comic-book art style. (1/2)

How can anyone NOT love our colourful, diverse, found-family, comic-book road-trip adventure? It's silly and wild and crazy ambitious; not perfect by any means, but it's heartfelt and soulful and made with a ton of love (and zero "agenda"). And Dustborn is SUPER cheap on Steam right now!

This is a user review of Draugen. Not Dustborn. Draugen: a game set in 1920s Norway with zero "propaganda", unless you count "mountains and fjords are real pretty" as propaganda.
Oh, and play Draugen! It's a neat little mystery, perfect October entertainment.

TIL the Mac command key icon is based on an ancient Nordic symbol commonly used to denote cultural locations and points of interest. Seen these signs all my life, used Macs for decades, never made the connection.
