I've been playing since release and have seen no increase in my info being available with the services I use to monitor it, and have had no new spam beyond the usual stuff you get from the person you signed up from.

I get more spam from Square and Steam X_x

It's the same stuff FFXIV collects, too, though Square words theirs a bit less plainly. Like I said, it's pretty much the standard of every online game these days.

I'm less concerned with Cygames having any of my info than I am, say, Facebook... and Facebook I willingly gave it all to back in the day so RIP me.

Yeah it's the same boilerplate that Cygames slaps on all their games. They don't take most of the data, but they say it all just to cover their ass. But never agree to anything you're not personally OK with. I'm at the point where I know enough companies have my info that I don't care anymore lol

It won't game capture if the anti-cheat compatible hook is on. I had to help a friend fix it the other day.

I think that TOS was just the boilerplate that Cygames always posts to cover their ass but they don't actually take it all. They had a similar TOS for their Granblue games. That said, don't do it if you're not comfortable for sure.

For the capture, I had to toggle off the anti-cheat hook in OBS.
