Esaro doesn't smile a lot actually. Art tends to catch him at his best but he has a lot of anxiety. A lot of trauma. The scars are deep.
Most sorcerers are kind of trust fund kids, but Esaro's wild magic only flared after he was at the very bottom and lost everything.

I'm glad I settled back on this character.
Flux ended up landing for me when I got on anxiety meds and it literally changed my entire brain functionality. I do not feel like I am the same person I was.

Eventually this was the result. And two different time periods, one a more traditional feudal and the other modern.

Zane means gift from God, kind of a play on their story of being a messenger/emissary of Inari in the mortal world. Also means beautiful, or handsome, and what ties to me specifically for it to be the name of my fursona at this point...
