Always hunting for the perfect hazy IPA. All views my own. Audere est Facere. When I die, I'm a Tar Heel dead.
LOL the 60 year hypothetical. If earth even exists in 60 years my man.

The idea that he's a project manager is just silly. We actually need a project manager and coach to help develop our youth prospects.

Ange is a win now manager. This narrative is so silly. Look at his resume. He doesn't stay at a club beyond 3 years. He won, but prem performance was poor and lost his job as a result. It's ok to admit he succeeded as a win now manager, because that's who he is, but isn't a coach for a project.

He hasn't really made an exception for exceptional talent either. If we're being honest - he claims we started prioritizing europa in January and still overplayed the same players in the prem (didn't play any academy players) and we still finished 17th. I'm grateful we won UEL, but c'mon.

I wasn't one of those fans wanting to Bergvall loaned out; he just needed to get comfortable playing in the prem. Looking more broadly, I would not say we've seen Brennan, Sarr, Udogie, or Vicario developed their games since the beginning of last season, no.

all to say, I am sad to see him leave, but let's not kid ourselves by saying he's a good coach. He's a good man manager, but not the best coach, and that's completely ok. Ancelotti has made an entire career in doing that.

And some would argue his usage of academy prospects has been poor.

Usage is development are different things.

Quite the contrary… this is angeball. This is what we’ve seen all season.
