Dragons in my universe tend to follow a simple naming convention. Of course, we'll use Raiden as an example.
Croze, being a branch of storm dragons, tend to receive a "V" as their true name.
Raiden, bestowed upon him by his father, Victor, dubbed him: "Viral".

Guilt comes to mind. Raiden has in his past fallen victim to indecisive action. It had caused many to lose their lives and/or heavily change the course of those lives due to a moment of hesitation.

When writing Raiden in my universe, I always used his draconic form very sparingly. He, by no means, has any shame in what he is, nor the power it bestows.
However, the drastic change in size, has always thrown him off when it comes to control (physical power and magical).
