Snow day play! Two catches and a miss (but his expression cracked me up!)
He flung one front boot off 5 minutes in and never looked back. The other front boot lasted 40 minutes before it slipped down last his dewclaw and bothered him. The back boots stayed on the whole time.

Here's my service dog in training! We went to a small local café yesterday and I had a lovely banana matcha. He did a very good job!

Somehow the Dog Toy Bin in my room has become the bin where colour goes to die. I know it's mostly because 90% of it is bones, antlers, squeakers, and benebones but even the actual toys are mostly white??? I swear the living room bin has toys with colours.

Corsair isn't fazed by mowers but he DID think it was REALLY EXCITING and he wanted to PLAY when Joe's brother did it so I made the mowing the least interesting event.

I introduced the idea of Holding a food item yesterday.... today he can Hold a baby carrot long enough for me pick up my phone, drop my phone, pick my phone back up, take a picture, put DOWN my phone AGAIN... and then Give the carrot to my hand for kibble + said carrot.

Someone in the private group for Corsair's breeder mentioned that it can be a struggle to get some obedience dogs to hold and carry metal, and asked if Corsair would. I said, let's find out!
Butter knife test: PASSED. With distracting cat AND heeling honours. (It was definitely a tough carry tho.)
