Fun fact: when I first drew Lady OMT GF, this exact red dress was what I took inspiration from, which worked because Girlfriend already canonically wears a red dress. It was pretty fun to draw Lady OMT GF in blue this time because blue looks cute on her, but if I ever do make a ref of her, she's gonna have the red dress because I said so XD

I've of course shown Safe on here before, but not a proper ref, so better now than never. His beginning form takes inspiration from his much older Legacy designs. His previous current look always looked a bit too bright and clean for a Sink Sonic variant, so that's why he's a bit darker and roughed up a bit in his new design lol This man has come such a long way with how many times I've designed him into my AU, from being a hedgehog to now being a monkey. And yes, he's a bit heavily DragonBall coded XD

This is kinda old but I wanted to show it off. Before meeting Sallie X, Rainbow worked alongside Dimentio and Mr L as "Ms R" (it's one of those alternate Paper Mario AU where Mr L remains this way to this day lol)
Ms R and Mr L weren't just partners in crime, but also very close friends, even hooking up a few times with how close they were, even though they didn't wanna make anything official. Mr L introduced her to his other buddy, IHY Luigi, and all three of them were an occasional trio together. Of course, working with Dimentio wasn't always pleasant, but at least it was fair for her. Working alongside Mr L has even given Rainbow a lot of fighting experience that she retains most of to this day. While Rainbow has stopped working for Dimentio and retired being Ms R (she didn't have a choice due to her and Sallie X being relocated to an isolated area for their safety back then), she is still in contact with Mr L and IHY Luigi, and she still hangs out with them sometimes. As of now, Rainbow has gained a bit of extra weight since living with Sallie X, so the costume no longer fits her, which she's fine with since she won't be Ms R again anytime soon

The song "Moribund" from #sonicoriginals has a chokehold on me, and it has for a while, and I've drawn quite a bit of fan art revolving around it. I decided to try out designs for BF and GF in the AU, along with a few different variants of the two. Yes, I used flower names for all of them XD
Poppy (sheep mobian) and Bluebell (bunny mobian), based on how the community commonly draws BF and GF as mobians. They're nothing short of lovebirds, oblivious to the dangers around them Peony (porcupine mobian) and Zinnia (cat mobian), the B-Sides counterparts. Neither of them have official mobian designs so I had to get creative with these, and I think a porcupine mobian design works pretty well for a Boyfriend design Hydrangea (another bunny mobian) and Cornflower (monkey mobian), the C-Sides counterparts. This was actually the last pair of them I drew, and at that point, I had given up on flower names to use lol Marigold (snail mobian) and Aster (I think he's a wolf mobian), the D-Sides counterparts. This was heavily requested by a close friend after I made Bluebell and Poppy, and these two are based on the official mobian designs for D-Sides BF and GF (I love the idea of GF being a snail lol).

In the World X AU, Rainbow can take on a number of different forms, some either developed naturally or from outside means. You've seen her canon Creature form, so here are some of her other alternate forms! More info about them will be in their respective alt text
The "All-Slaughter," Rainbow's Horrorbrew form. Gained by absorbing a star that contained a portion of Mario the Immortal's power during the King of Nothing Saga, this form is incredibly powerful. She grows from 5'4 to 6ft tall, and has her own cape called the "Fabrics of Despair." She can be aggressive and quick to fight, cold and dismissive sometimes, and incredibly snarky. This form also has stages, this only being her first and most well-known stage, though there is a lot more to come "Xenbow," one of two mobian forms Rainbow can take on. This form first debuted around when Sallie X was going through her troubles as a "Xeno-Mommy" form because Rainbow didn't want her adoptive mother to suffer alone. She still acts the same as normal, but can run and float incredibly fast, just like Sonic.Exe/Xenophanes does. Like Xeno-Mommy Sallie X, Xenbow has noodle limbs, but more similar to Xeno's "You Can't Run" look "Beepbow," based on how I love to main Boyfriend avatars in VRCHAT. This is basically Rainbow with the mentality of BF and herself mixed into one, not a single thought in her mind most of the time. And yeah, she can sing like BF too, even being able to communicate in "beep bop" language. Beepbow carries around a bright green microphone that can connect to speakers using Bluetooth "Scratchy Rainbow," also more known as "Itchy Rainbow," based on the Color Me Mario VR avatar I also occasionally main. Due to how the avatar looks, likely to match the Mario's Madness style (because I originally found the avatar in the FNFMM VR map), the plush looks rather itchy, so we call him "Itchy Mario." Scratchy is purely a plush in this form that can still move around just fine, though she is mute and can't make any verbal sounds. She relies on body language to communicate, and she will in fact stare up at you with her autistic eyes XD
