Rainbow's therapeutic riding programs have been benefiting children and adults with a myriad of challenges, including physical, cognitive, and mental health, for 40 years. We are a 501©3 and are a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center. Haymarket, VA.

We're looking for a few volunteers to help us get our outdoor areas in shape for the season. We need help planting & pruning around the farm, and also painting some of our fencing. If you have an hour to spare to help, please come on down to Rainbow this Saturday, April 12th, between 10am - 12noon.

It's #NationalHuggingDay and we think that's worth celebrating. Whether it's a hug from your favorite horse or hound, did you know that hugging releases oxytocin? This powerful hormone not only makes us feel good, but it reduces pain, and can even lower blood pressure and the risk of heart disease.

Just a reminder that our Winter Semester starts next Tuesday, January 21st! Our heated loft is fully equipped with equine related learning activities, from learning about feeding, tacking up, working on rider body mechanics, and horse health and wellness. Bundle up and we'll see you at the barn!

Today is #NationalHatDay and at Rainbow our favorite hat is a riding helmet! No matter how much horse experience you have, it's your number one protection against serious injuries - 60% or more of horse-related deaths are caused by head injuries; helmets can reduce this by 70-80%. Cover your head!
