Maybe I need to hone in on the "draw your favourite fictional character (blorbo) repeatedly" approach and practice drawing Shantae more.

Ooo, I also want to try drawing my half-genie persona more too!

I do have a site bookmarked that lets me pose 3D models for drawing reference, although it can also be tricky to get the model's pose right.

As for references, I've always had trouble with that. I just have this fear that I'll copy too much of the reference to the point where it's nearly the same.

I'm having another one of those moments where I wish I had the willpower to draw more. I guess part of why I lack it is because getting the bodies and positioning to look right is very difficult.

I need the practice to get better, and I want to be able to draw the cute ideas that pop into my head.
