Took my truck in for service & decided to ride my bike back home. A bit chilly and tiring, but made it to the door to only realize I had my truck key instead of the remaining keys that contained the house key. Happy Monday!

Absolutely devastated that my local mechanic shop changed ownership & the two long time service advisors I've always dealt with have moved on. And to top it all off, the buyer was a private equity firm. 😩

Internet outage at work. It's interesting to walk around and seeing how others are spending their time without access. It's like the ending of the Cable Guy when the broadcast feed goes out & people pick up books to read.

Haven't been able to use HYSPLIT pre-computed forecast trajectories in 2 days now via NOAA ARL. Guessing it's now a victim of the prolonged govt shutdown?

On that note, I am excited to attend another game at Greensboro Coliseum (refuse to say First Horizon) this afternoon. Another top 10 matchup (this time it counts!) for NC State women's basketball vs. Tennessee. This time we got tix close to the floor. Look forward to hearing "Rocky Top" 75 times!

NC State straight up demolished NC Central last night. Even though the opponent may be inferior, I haven't seen total game points exceed 110+ in the 25 or so seasons I've kept up with the Wolfpack. Will Wade & this team are something special. The #RedReckoning is here!

I don't think I've eaten Wingstop in 15+ years. Wasn't that impressed, but this is still eye opening.

The lack of sleeping well this week has compounded the ebb & flow of mental depression. This had led to me not having an ounce of desire to celebrate any form of Halloween outside of watching occasional horror movies/shows. No decorations, candy purchases, etc. I am now a 40+ year old fuddy duddy. 😔
