it does not work how i want it to work i would ideally like it to work exactly the same way it does on windows where the icon reflects the clipboard state and if you press it while the GPU is in use it shouts at you but you know baby steps

got it to work but it does this really evil thing where whenever you wake the laptop from suspend it turns the GPU on and you know what the really fucked up part is I asked it really nicely to stop doing that and it still does it any way
