I think the best thing about my Halloween costume this year is the fact that I scared several people at the Halloween party last night. 😈😂🎃

Just entered @HerbalAcademy's herbalism course giveaway, so fingers crossed I can win myself a chance to complete the introductory course. 🤞

Nothing like getting woken up way before your alarm on your only day off this week by your boss calling and asking if you can come in to work. 😑😤😴

I am not above going full Cersei on these politicians who continue to sit on their hands while people are DYING due to their own inaction and ineptitude. Looking at you @GavinNewsom 👀 #ClemencyNow

This is a real photo of people currently imprisoned at Cummins in Arkansas on the "hoe squad," aka the folks who work in the fields, and y'all are telling me you still don't see how policing and prisons were created from slave patrols and still share that connection today?!

I've had this hanging on my living room wall for a while now. I got it through @prisonculture to support Brave Space Alliance (@BSAllianceChi) along with a "Prison Is Not Feminist" poster to support the #FreeNikki campaign in 2018. Every day it feels a little bit closer.

Prosecuting & opposing the pardon of Amreya Shefa, a Black immigrant survivor who defended herself from rape, is blatant anti-Black racism & misogyny at work. @hennepinatty Mike Freeman: Drop your opposition to #PardonShefa! #ProtectBlackSurvivors #SurvivedAndPunished

Made this last year, but still relevant. Be diligent about learning more about your local carceral systems. Police brutality goes beyond the streets & supporting our incarcerated comrades & fighting for their release is also a way we move toward abolition. Let's be a...

Angela Davis speaking truth to power in "Are Prisons Obsolete?" A must-read for anyone new to the idea of abolition. #AbolishPolice

Y'all, stop posting photos/videos with protester's faces in them! This is not cute - it puts people in danger. #SpokaneProtest

Did you know that in #Spokane County Black people are incarcerated at a rate 13x that of white people? On average Black people are incarcerated for 27 days while white people are only held for 15. Join me in saying #NoSpoCoJailExpansion #BlackLivesMatter https://bit.ly/3dAPdHk

Hey #Spokane - know of any protesters that need bail support? Give this number below a call and @bailproject is ready to help. Want to be prepared before you head out on the streets? Write this number on your arm in permanent marker along with family/friend contact info.

Here are some things you can do instead: thank a young person for coming out, support the work organizers of the event are doing, thank a legal observer or another protester nearby, etc.

Why you should stop thanking police officers (or cheering for them taking a knee?!) at #BlackLivesMatter protests, or any protest:

Taken around noon in downtown #Spokane by my pal @27laneboy - 2 hrs before the #GeorgeFloyd #BlackLivesMatter protest is scheduled to start. If the police are there to "deescalate" then why are they escalating things before they even begin? This is what a police state looks like.
