2. Man It Feels Like Space Again - Pond
3. III Times - GUM/Ambrose Kenny-Smith
4. Mercurial World - Magdalena Bay

If I had to gripe about something, it’s that even for theme park prices, everything there is INSANELY expensive! Would have loaded up on merch if it would have been 1/3rd of the price. They wanted $20 for this fridge magnet.

Me and my friend were there when it opened all the way until it closed. The park somehow looks even better at night basically everywhere.

Then there’s “Stardust Racers” which may be my favorite coaster experience ever. I rode it while it was dueling once during the day and once at night. Tried both sides. It’s seriously awesome, and the line was basically always short!

I’ve been thinking about it all week.

Then there was the “Isle of Berk”.

Possibly the second-best family area ever in a park (after Nintendo World)?? Like, I can’t say for sure because I only rode the coaster and left, but the level of detail there was crazy. (This is the only pic I have ready atm lol)

The coaster there was fine.

Then comes the obligatory Harry Potter ride which… is also pretty phenomenal.

The queue line may very well be the best in the park, which is good because you’ll be in it a very long time most likely.

I was in the single-rider line, and it took an hour still.

Then there was the Mario Kart ride. It has a phenomenal queue line that made the 55 min feel more like 30 mins.

The ride itself mixes AR with physical props, and I was very disoriented the first time I rode it. The second time, it was much more fun.

I CANNOT emphasize enough how insanely slow the line moves, and for the entire thing there is only ONE cool thing to look at, which is this pair of animatronics.

Which I will fully admit is an awesome one. Just, we were only able to see it for about 15 mins out of our two-hour wait.

Last week I managed visit Epic Universe! It was a very uneven experience, but the park over-delivers on spectacle more often than not

I recall all of these being bangers

Made a custom park in Tony Hawk 3+4. If you want to try it out, the share code is: "Y0DV0SQ8X" (note that they are zeros and not "Os" despite them looking exactly the same with the game's font)

Here’s the others. Still a lot of movies I need to catch up on.

“What are your favorite films of the decade so far?”

Super tough to narrow down just four, and I’ll probably even disagree with these choices tomorrow, but here’s what I chose today:

Went to a Caravan Palace concert last week. 10/10 would recommend!

Managed to make it to a “Justice” concert, and it was so freaking good! Had a blast!

“ZU: Warriors From The Magic Mountain”

Very fast-paced, over-the-top spectacle that barely gives you a moment to breathe for the first 40 mins. Afterwards, it slows down a bit, but continues with the fun visuals until the end.

Where to watch:
Shout! Factory Bluray

“Iron Monkey”

You’ll want to watch the original cut rather than the Miramax version. Thankfully, that’s not hard to do now as the most current distribution seems to be the original cut.

Anyway, this is another gem with a lot of high-energy wirework.

Where to watch:
AppleTV
Youtube (Paid)
Bluray

“Once Upon A Time In China 1-6”

The first two are the “Great” ones, but I genuinely recommend all 6 of them. Even the worst ones are still very entertaining and constantly catch you off guard with how crazy the action gets. Lots of creativity.

Where to watch:
Max
Criterion
AppleTV/Youtube
Bluray

“The 8 Diagram Pole Fighter”

Very fun, fast-paced choreography that steadily gets better and better as the movie progresses. The final action scene is so insane my jaw dropped multiple times.

Arrow Video has an excellent Blu-Ray release, but you can probably find it on Tubi as well.

May as well add to this list again. I watched about 40 Jackie Chan movies this year so far, and these were some that stood out that weren’t “Police Story”

Which isn’t to say you shouldn’t check out more. These were just ones I especially enjoyed.
