Clarification: More than a few mutual friends I had with said individual unfriended me. Which is why I assume they're talking shit.

There are people I wish I'd never met.
I still play VRC regularly, but I'll probably be focused on routine tasks and the occasional thing with friends. I think it's time to get back to playing other games tho. I've got enough in my steam and PS5 backlogs to last me a while.

I also feel that friends I had in common, with the said individual, are now in an awkward position whenever I or both of us are in the same instance. I didn't want to force a choice of them or me, but given a few friends straight up unfriended me, I can only assume they're talking shit about me.

I've had some success in trying to make new connections, but--me being an introvert--it feels forced and guarded. I just have a sense of who I'll get along with well and I don't really feel that attached to many of the new connections.
