Democratic women have made history tonight:

Abigail Spanberger will be the first female governor of Virginia.

Mikie Sherrill will be the first female Democratic governor of New Jersey.

I’m looking forward to seeing these strong, dedicated leaders deliver a bright future for their states. 🎉

WOW. Mikie Sherrill is up 12 points in New Jersey. This was supposed to be a razor thin race.

Right? Who knows what they did! We should open up the Epstein Files and see what’s in there, J.D. Good point.
JD Vance: "We know that Jeffrey Epstein had a lot connections with left-wing politicians and left-wing billionaires ... Democrat billionaires and Democrat political leaders went to Epstein island all the time. Who knows what they did."

#ICYMI: We asked Abbott for his and his staff’s emails with Elon Musk and Musk’s companies.

The governor’s office won’t turn them over, saying some contain “intimate and embarrassing” information that is “not of legitimate concern to the public.”

Public records, which include government emails, are subject to FOIA.
We get reminded of that regularly. "It might embarrass me" should go through your mind BEFORE you hit send, not after as an excuse.
That's just Gov 101.

I don’t want the NIH to be fucking profitable, I want it to cure cancer and Alzheimer’s
TAPPER: 14 Republicans say you're risking undermining critical research by holding up NIH funding

VOUGHT: If they were a company, their stock price would in shambles. They in some respects caused the pandemic. You have an entire institute that does nothing more than DEI research at the NIH.

Republicans let ACA subsidies expire, now insurers want to hike premiums by 15%. Millions could lose coverage and not get the care they need. We don’t need excuses. We need health care.
ACA health insurance will cost the average person 75% more next year, research shows
A new analysis shows that health insurance premiums for Obamacare are set to soar next year, as financial help that subsidized the cost expires. Congress is not likely to extend the subsidies.

It’s past midnight and Republicans still don’t even know what the final version of their Big Ugly bill will look like.

Kicking millions off health care, blowing up the national debt by trillions, and devastating generational economic harms—all being written into law on the fly.
