Shark Whisperer was thought-provoking & awe-inspiring. The underwater visuals were breathtaking. A unique exploration of a human-wildlife connection that left me speechless. A well-made docu about the fearless woman behind an edgy form of conservation

Jurassic World Rebirth revitalized the franchise in a way that made me remember why I loved watching these movies. Scary, thrilling, massive, with so many set pieces that got me all jumpy. A roller coaster thrill ride that delivered everything it promised.

Dora And The Search For Sol Dorado was exactly as expected. Silly, zany, with low quality CGI & an adventure that didn't make sense. But overall it was a decent enough film that can be played on TV at daycare centers while the kids are waiting for their parents to pick them up.

The Old Guard 2 was awful. A mediocre narrative designed to simply be a teaser for a potential 3rd sequel. The action & the fights weren't sophisticated, and the camera often cut away for no reason. The cliffhanger also felt painfully vapid. This film was just bad.

Brick was trippy & not that easy to predict, which I very much enjoyed. A well-paced, intriguing, suspenseful thriller with an emotional punch. It kinda took inspiration from other existing sci-fi mysteries, but it's one of those cases where the formula still worked

Ziam was a mixed bag. Combining Muay Thai with zombie horror gave this film a unique spin worthy of acknowledgment. Gnarly & graphic. But the story was thin, the scares were predictable, the character development was non-existent & the performances left much to be desired.

Too Much was insufferable. Lena Dunham took everything that’s obnoxious about "Girls" & put them in London. An endless drivel about an unhealthy relationship. Whiny & petulant. The interesting parts never came because the annoying parts were excessive. #TooMuch did nothing for me

Wall To Wall was an intense, trippy, hitchcockian paranoia thriller with some pretty crazy twists and turns. The socio-economic commentary was a bit too on the nose tho. Kang Ha-neul gave a nuanced performance & Yeom Hye-ran was delightfully manipulative.

Untamed was a big meh. Putting aside Canada posing as Cali's Yosemite Park, the murder mystery's wheels eventually fell off and the twist reveal felt forced, unearned & lazy. Plus, the half-baked themes and the underwhelming characters. A poorly-written crime thriller.

Just watched The Toxic Avenger and I wish I hadn’t. Unfunny, incoherent, annoying. Not even its gnarly violence was amusing. My advice… stick with the old original version because this poor excuse for a reboot was garbage. They should’ve kept it shelved.

Fixed was hilarious. Obscenely hysterical & wildly outrageous. One of the funniest adult animated movies I've ever seen. My favorite scene was the cat trance. Couldn't stop laughing. Pet owners everywhere would totally crack up over this film that tickled me silly

Just watched Happy Gilmore 2
Holy shit that was rough. Nostalgia & celeb-fest 🤦🤦‍♂️
Adam Sandler needs to thank zeus that Netflix exists. They're the only ones that would continue to platform his unfunny movies.
What the hell happened?! This sequel didn't even bother trying

Countdown totally rocked. Suspenseful & thrilling. A badass adrenaline-fueled action-packed crime thriller that’s intensely pulse pounding. Jensen Ackles had that "Lethal Weapon"s Martin Riggs vibe about him; an effortless blend of charm, fearlessness & vulnerability.

Heads of State was hugely entertaining. The comedy was a bit touch-and-go, but the action was high-octane explosive. John Cena and Idris Elba bounced off each other really well. And Priyanka once again proved that she got this whole badass female thing on lock.

Ice Road Vengeance was one of the worst sequels I've ever seen. So bad it was laughable. Formulaic, unimpressive, predictable. Lame action, shitty VFX, one-dimensional villains, heavy-handed drama, the whole film was just so, so silly and not in a good way.

KPop Demon Hunters was fun, exciting, sexy & cool. I loved every minute of it. A terrific mix of pop culture, supernatural action, forbidden romance, catchy songs and profound themes that were all wrapped in a visually vibrant, dynamic animation.

Titan The Oceangate Disaster was revelatory & insightful. A thoroughly in-depth documentary about the devastating cost of one man’s hubris. Those scenes showing the amplifying cracking sounds scared the hell out of me. A cautionary tale of an unchecked ego.

Revival was fresh & unique. It was unlike any other zombie shows I had ever watched before. Melanie Scrofano played it pretty straight as the protective mama bear/big sister. The whodunit murder mystery was intriguing. And CM Punk's recurring role was amusing & memorable

Echo Valley twist-ending caught me off guard, tho it would've been sweeter had it had The Beatles' song: "With a Little Help From My Friend." Sydney Sweeney proved she's not just a blonde beauty. Raw performance on her part. And Julianne Moore was as masterful as ever

Diablo was hella good! A bit formulaic but I enjoyed it. Scott Adkins was both badass & compelling. This was quite possibly the most riveting action movie he's ever starred in because I cared about the story & his character. And Marko Zaror played a terrifying villain.

Ballerina was pretty badass. The story was shallow but it had all the elements you loved about the John Wick franchise. Wouldn’t be fair to compare Ana to Keanu but Ana held her own quite well. Those stunt-driven fights were no joke & she pulled them off convincingly

Mad Unicorn was a sharp & dynamic rags-to-riches story with a cutthroat competitive tenacity. Full of rapid-fire dialogues & a ruthless sense of humor. Natara & Jane gave nuanced performances. You’re really convinced that they just had to put all of their eggs in this one basket.
