Due to RAM shortages and Nvidia cutting back GPU production, the time to target hardware like the Steam Deck is now. Target less powerful hardware, so all can benefit. Not only will it make current hardware feel adequate, but developers will potentially see more sales. Limitations breed creativity.

For 2026, I chose two games to play that are outside my comfort zone. Those games are Caves of Qud and Dwarf Fortress. I've had my eyes on them for quite some time, but I get overwhelmed just by looking at them. It's going to be an interesting year.

Out of the reveals last night at The Game Awards, I was really drawn to Orbitals. I just really love the art style and it seems like a fun couch co-op game with a friend or loved one.

Kingdoms of the Dump is a must play. I’m only 1.5 hours into it and can already tell this is going to be an adventure I’m going to remember for a long time. Love the Super Mario RPG influence.

Counter-Strike VR would be a really cool game for Steam Frame, just saying Valve. Bring back the old school server browser like from CS 1.6 and CSS and this could be a massive hit. I'd probably only play this game lol

I feel like The Mummy video game, if made like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, would be peak. Especially if Brendan Fraser actually voiced Rick O'Connell.

Petal Runner is my most anticipated game of 2026. Hopefully there are no set backs, but if there are then I don't mind waiting for the best experience possible. The color palette just tickles the brain.

One day last year, I suddenly just stopped playing Portal 2. It appears I left it on Chapter 9, a couple chambers before the final boss. Well, single player is done now.

Hindsight is always 20/20, but after the complete failure that was the Xbox One, I feel that Microsoft, if it had truly cared, should have only released the Xbox Series S (with a disc drive) at or around the same original price of $299.99. I would have jumped all over it and said "We're so back."
