I really liked the Destiny Heliostat exotic mission. Very set-piece-y, a little shorter than expected, but fun and different the way I like my exotic missions. Curious about some of the narrative threads being pulled on here.

That's wild, there's plenty of good quality equipment powered by USB-C out there - and a lot more far more expensive items too. Fascinating though, something to look into.

That's literally exactly what I just ordered, teensy 4.1 with the audio shield, little USB-C breakout, and now finding some nice pads and Neopixels somewhere

Like hours of searching and the best thing I found is a 399 dollar 1010music nanobox and while the size is good, that's way too much audio magic. I have like 6 audio files I want to play when I press a button. For redundancy, maybe make it 8.

I did not expect that wanting to buy a tiny simple USB-C sound pad, like a super small device with some pads that can play selected sound files off of memory or SD card into a 3.5mm output without a computer involved, would end up with me just building the damn thing myself.

Just got an email from Discord that their customer support system has been hacked with two case numbers that have ended up in the data accessed.

Looked up the case numbers and it's just me repeating the same question to an automated bot in eight different ways, concluding with "I was not helped".
