Today, on the 24th anniversary of the opening of the prison, I join advocates to demand the permanent closure of Guantánamo Bay, the immediate release of the six men held without charge, accountability for those who ordered & committed crimes against humanity, & recourse whose rights were violated.

A rejection of international law is a rejection of human rights that puts our collective safety, humanity, dignity and sovereignty at risk. Congress must intervene, reclaim Congress' war powers, and impeach Trump.

As long as Republcians at Judiciary and Homeland Committees continue to turn a blind eye to her lawlessness, they are complicit, too. We must conduct oversight and demand accountability!

We must continue to demand accountability. That starts with defunding ICE, bringing the criminals with badges to justice, and impeaching Noem.
