Things are bad in the US and getting worse. This is true. What we do not need is people writing posts that amount to fanfic about how terrible it's going to get. We do not need people with large accounts scaring everyone else in to despair. If you have a platform, think before you tweet.

I've heard so many people talk about the same things happening to their viewership as of late. I feel like Twitch is making the user experience so awful that people are just doing other things than watching streams. That's anecdotal, but I'm curious to see the numbers.

The problem that arose from the "Just go to therapy" discourse of the last decade or so is that it shifted the responsibility of mental health purely to the individual, when let's be real everyone, being scared, sad, anxious, and depressed is NORMAL when you're living through the rise of fascism.
