Well this won't play well with the toxic masculinity crowd.

Calming activities reduced anger in the lab and the field. Effective arousal-reducing activities included slow-flow yoga, mindfulness, progressive muscle relaxation, diaphragmatic breathing, and taking a timeout.

STEM promotion at all levels of education would be a boon that would be difficult if not impossible to quantify in later years.

I sincerely think that universities should suspend their productivity standards for scientists and ask them instead to hold town halls in schools, public libraries, museums, shopping malls, and anywhere else and communicate what is being lost with the collapse of the research ecosystem.
