Excellent article Brian. I agree with your constructive format. We should have learned a lesson from Washington last year. Soft teams don’t don’t win the cup. We need to add physical players. Or call them up.

We are so lucky to have someone like MSL guiding our young team.
November 9, 2025 at 5:41 PM
💯 agree. He is settling in nicely.
November 9, 2025 at 5:38 PM
Yes that is missing this year. I’m thinking if we make the playoffs again(should) may have to recall couple from Laval. Need to be much more physical for playoff hockey this year.

Totally agree, it’s always exciting to see a young player get rewarded for playing good. A couple games in the big league will do him good.

Another great read Karine, and you are right, when we get bad calls, may as well accept it and play on. The refs are not going to admit they made a mistake.
It was a good game as a team, especially Dach who is improving every game.

Lane Hutson and he is only getting started.

Sorry to hear 🙏

I would go with Dobes. Let Monty have Devils, that will be road game. Maybe less pressure to play well.
November 3, 2025 at 2:10 AM
Totally agree.

Great read Jack. A lot of truth there.

It’s the principle. You don’t treat players like that. That’s old time
October 31, 2025 at 5:57 PM
I can’t imagine MSL doing that to Montembeault if he was having a bad night. That’s the difference in smart coaches.

I remember it well. Watched that game, to this day it makes me sad to see what happened. I blamed Mario, but I guess the GM was also to blame. Sad day in our rich history
October 31, 2025 at 2:18 PM
Yes I saw all the goals, most were from in close. My point was, when he brings his ‘À game, he is way better, often makes outstanding saves. There were not many if any outstanding saves last night. He can and need to be much better.
October 24, 2025 at 3:26 PM
Did you look at his save percentage for tonight. He was not good
October 24, 2025 at 4:02 AM
Someone will eventually be moved on D. But if we learned anything from last year playing Washington, the playoffs is a new season. Way more physical. If they move Xhekaj, they need to replace his physicality.

Great shot

Another great article Jack. I think Montreal got a couple players who will top 10 in this league or higher when they peak. It sure looks promising to take a serious run at Lord Stanley in the next few years. Lots of excitement

Happy Birthday Scott, enjoy your evening

It’s not who’s right that matters, I wouldn’t want to miss the live action lol.

Yes lol

Good morning Gilles, I’m with you on being excited for the weekend games. Been a long time coming.

I just checked my tv guide and it’s showing tomorrow’s game at 4pm against Toronto. That would be 3pm start in Montreal. Unless it’s a mistake on my tv guide

Excellent article, a pleasure to read. Hab fans are blessed with a great history and you did an excellent job reminding us how great a lot of these players were.

Morning Claude
This is indeed sad news to hear. He was indeed an icon and a legendary Canadian. He did so much for the game of hockey. RIP
