Utterly gutted by what happened in MN yesterday and everyday that ICE is allowed to wreak havoc. What a privilege it is for me to give myself grace today when I know there are so many families who can’t escape their devastating reality. My heart breaks for wanting rest while there is work to do.

They’re just as dumb as we think they are.
For the last two or three weeks, I’ve been waking up nightly from a dream state heart racing and gasping for breath. This has been going on regularly since Election Night but seems to be picking up consistency. So, at least I have that going for me.

It will be a year-long project, but every day, I go to my Facebook memories, make sure I have the photos backed up elsewhere, take notes of any written memories that actually matter, and then delete every single post. I realize I could download my entire profile, but this seems more manageable.

Apparently there were some big football games last night, and I was SHOCKED to learn that there is a team called the Commanders. Who are they and where did they come from? I could Google this, but I don’t care.
