Who should we believe?

Things the GOP are doing instead of lowering food prices:
- Had a bill to add Mr. Trump's likeness to Mount Rushmore
- Filed legislation to expunge Trump's two impeachments
- Make Trump's birthday a national holiday
- Introduced legislation to annex Greenland & rename it Red, White and Blue Land

Many people think that less govt employees will provide a 1-to-1 reduction in their taxes. Simple math time:

120,000 laid off X $80,000 salary = $9.6 billion
Divide that # by the # of taxpayers (200mill) = $48

NOW, flip it. For only $48/yr, a single taxpayer has 120K people working for them.

While not a 100% Applicable:
Imagine after WWII, the United State's plan for Germany was to displace all the German citizens and turn Germany into a giant resort.

The only thing that would make it better if they made it the world's largest convenient mart.

I can't see anyway that Elon's meddling won't traumatically break something which affects millions of Americans. I mean, he seems to have no problem blowing up spaceships. He can afford to build new one.

Common Americans don't have that kind of money to rescue themselves.

Would a sane or competent person offer up a plan to displace over two million people in a volatile regional in the Mideast and then turn the place into a resort?
