I really hope S3 helps them mend and it actually addresses Chaarlie's bias against her dad.
Their fight in s2 was an important plot point and i wish it had an emotional payoff (on screen, i know it's implied that Charlie and him talked it out but i wish we saw a bit of that happening)

To add salt to the wound, there's literally nothing he can harm himself with. Even if he were ever suicidal, death isn't an option for him.
