I disagree that its because theyre afraid to wield power, thats just a convenient excuse. They weaponize incompetence because theyre beholden to the same moneyed interests as the Republicans.

I try not to engage in zero sum thinking, but capitalism is truly zero sum. In order for the capitalists to thrive, they MUST pay laborers less than the value of their labor. Fair wages are a mirage in a capitalist system.

"Crime" is little more than a dogwhistle at this point. Defund the police, DHS, and the military. The way to stop crime is to eradicate poverty and they all know that. Everything else is an excuse to cover for capitalist greed.

It's great at pattern recognition and pouring over tremendous amounts of data - of course it would have valid applications in science. But its still just a tool for scientists to use - it cannot replace them.

I mean with the regimes dismantling of USAID and deportation of innocent people to foreign countries to rot in prison camps, they deserve millions of such charges.

They dont care. These guardsmen are nothing but pawns in their dumbass culture wars. The fact of the matter is that these guardsmen betrayed their oaths in following the illegal orders of a fascist tyrant. This was the inevitable conclusion and precisely why the second amendment exists.

The U.S. military being used as an occupying force to oppress Democratic cities and their citizens by a tyrant is exactly why the second amendment exists. These guardsmen are betraying their oaths by following these orders.
