I thought half the point of CR2 was solving capacity issues at Waterloo by redirecting most of the current South Western Metro services down the tunnel and freeing up a chunk of platform space for more mainline services.

Thorpe Park hasn't been aimed at children since Tussauds took it over about 25 years ago. Chessington was the family park and Thorpe was the teen & adult thrill park.
