I want to watch a debate between the atheists who said yes and the evangelicals who don't believe in jesus

If they didn’t want us to commit type piracy they should have named it after a less cool crime

I wish email wasn’t free - I would much prefer email if it cost a tenth of a cent per recipient per email

At my high school you had to have a librarian or teacher come over a manually type in a password every time you wanted to go to a website that wasn’t on their whitelist

At least, you did unless you found a way to obtain that password …

Sure? And I think that’s fine because essentially nothing of consequence depends on what is and is not counted as indie

The scale in the figure goes from 1 to multiple thousands. On that scale, 28 is “not high”
randy.pub
I’m confused - Are you saying that stray isn’t an indie game? It pretty clearly is, to me … 28 people working on a game is not high and it’s the first (and only, so far) game that the dev has made
randy.pub
I think indie is a “know it when you see it” label and that’s totally fine - I can’t think of a game where there is legitimate argument over whether or not something is “indie” and also who could possibly care

I’m guessing you get 90% of the way there with just credits size. Game size on disk seems irrelevant

It should only be a month or so until he’s good with one wake-up during the night, and then another few weeks until he sleeps through the night. The “every 2 hours” phase is 2-3 weeks long, in my experience

Devastating dad joke miss not referring to this as “embraces the {} notation”

I honestly can’t square this take with my experience using LLMs. I find them useful for small, well-defined problems where checking correctness is easy, and mostly a waste of time outside those bounds.

Do you really think a whole job (e.g. a professor) is automatable right now? Feels far to me

I really enjoyed giving a brief introduction to Julia for statisticians yesterday - thanks to Jake Grainger and Charles Dufour for organising such a great session!

Given she did the fraud, of course - which I still think is much more likely than not. Everything in this appeal feels like an attempt to get her off on a technicality

I think there’s at least some truth to the idea that she’s being punished harder than people in her position typically would be. But - the fix is not “she should get off with a warning”, it’s “the others should also be fired”
