The wealthiest 1% own Wall Street, control electoral politics and SCOTUS, but the electorate is focused on job loss to immigrants (scant supporting evidence), and transgender people in girls sports.

So I need help from economists out there, what are the long term ramifications for an economy that seems healthy in many ways but has trending wealth inequality? And how many more billionaires is our “populist” president-elect going to appoint to Cabinet and senior level administration positions?
