Fads and Fallacies in the Name of Science by Martin Gardner. Originally written in the 50s and updated in the 80s. It’s amazing how much of the nonsense he wrote about in the 50s is still with us.

Sure hope Vladimir Putin doesn’t see this. The Russians are a bit touchy about who won WW2, or the Great Patriotic War, as they call it. Since they singlehandedly pushed the Nazis from Moscow all the way to Berlin, and lost 10% of their population in the process, they might just take offense.
