To paraphrase Mamdani 'wr need to stop voting for the lesser evil and start seeking a greater good'. If the best you've got to support Carney is that he is better than PP you are supporting the lesser evil.

And hanging around with Maxwell and Andrew isn't a good look either.

The NDP choosing a progressive leader, with actual progressive policies, is the only way to avoid this future.

3rd - The societal disaster from Carney's cuts will hit and Liberal support will eveaporate
4th - Ford will campaign on a 'Stop Carney' platform and will become PM
5th - Ford will devastate Canada

Both corporate CEO's and politicians are masters of saying what people want to hear and then doing the opposite at the first opportunity.

His budget is 100% a trickle-down budget.

Zohran did the exact same thing Obama did in 2008; he offered people hope for a better future and a viable plan for changes that would be directly beneficial to them (no trickle down tricks required)

Increased militarism?
Abandonment of addressing climate change?
Slashing of public services?
Billions in handouts to corporations?

Those are acceptable to you, but criticizing tax breaks on yachts is your deal breaker? I have no problem with your choice of an insect based diet, it's a free country

Appreciate the high speed rail — but what about the rest for working-class Canadians? Cutting taxes on private jets for the 0.01% may help corporations, but won’t help those who will lose their jobs because of AI and austerity.

Canada Strong must mean *all* Canadians, not just a minority thereof!

No we can't do it alone BUT we could have held the line on what we were doing (which was already inadequate) instead of moving in the opposite direction of actively encouraging emissions.

Long term this is going to leave Canada wildly out of position when the pendulum swings.

And of course tax breaks for buying private jets and yachts... cause that's what Canadians need!

What do you like about it?

Massive military spending?
Abandonment of climate change?
Massive cuts to the programs Canadians use in the daily lives?
Billions for corporations?

It's the Canadian version of North Korea's Songun, aka the Military-First, policy... we are truly fucked

- Slamming the door on climate refugees
- Eliminating carbon cap (because more emissions somehow help fight climate change)
- 'Investing' in Carbon Capture (technology that doesn't work but will but billions into O&G shareholders pockets)
