There are myriad methods of managing addiction and, more to the point, withdrawal, for people out there that doctors won't engage in for fear of "malpractice." Managing withdrawal with mixed agonist/antagonists that don't contain naloxone 🧵

This is a great and reassuring thing. We can do more, though, to reach more people, if the bullshit flaming hoops of the medical system in this country - created and perpetuated by the insurance industry - could be dealt with in a real and comprehensive way.

$130 mil doesn't sound like it will last long. I hope this shit gets sorted out soon. Not just for the troops and ATCs, either; almost 60% of my city is government contractors, so local businesses and even doordashers are suffering hard now.
