Part of the problem IMO is that Pro LLM people are just so smug in a way that really irritates me on top of my dislike for their torment nexus. and I've been trying not to be as hateful recently so when I fail at that I get even angrier, I can't win lol

I try not to be reflexively mad at everyone who doesn't hate LLMs but that sometimes feels like a losing battle.

I've gotten a lot less negatively polarized but if I see too many people be positive about LLMs in a short span of time I start to feel the call of butlarian jihad posting lol.

Right to a trial by Jury is one of the foundational principles of English liberty so I guess I shouldn't be surprised the current government wants to end all that.

Oh speaking of RPGs, have you played the Pathfinder games from Owlcat studios? They're very good, though I don't think they reach the level of oblivion's best writing. But very few things can.

Not to start discourse but as a person who was traumatized at a young age by a priest, seeing that decline always cheers me up tbh. I do understand that people worry about the loss of church as a common social space though.
