Happy Earth Day! 55 years ago, Gaylord Nelson, a Wisconsin senator was inspired to act after a CA oil spill and reading Silent Spring by Rachel Carson. We have a lot to thank her for, she has single handedly contributed to the saving of more species than any human I can recall.
