Well I’m glad for your experience. In my current car, which is admittedly a budget Chinese job, the LKA has all the foresight and good judgement of a concussed Cavoodle.

Like I said - on damaged roads and especially dirt, the LKA is a bloody liability.
As for the speed warning, yes, sure - very good advice.

Lane Keep Assist is useless on damaged roads. They will mistake repair lines for centre lines. Also, try pulling over slightly for a wide load truck on the highway. LKA does not approve.

I use Loops for this. Knocks out all the top end noise while leaving conversation clear. Great for concerts and on the bike.

I lived on the reef at Cooktown 2015-2020. They’re fucked. A few patches of beauty but mostly miles of lifeless seascape. It’s a crying shame.

Even during actual wartime conflict, a soldier needs to positively identify the enemy before firing on them. This is taught at bloody recruits training.

A quick squeegee and chamois goes well after a shower and really extends the effect of the proper deep clean. 🙂
