I wanna be clear that I'm not one of those "age is just a number" types, but knowing that Whisper is supposed to be 16 according to Sega makes no damn sense, changes nothing about her, and only serves to let weirdos online make extreme accusations towards you over a cartoon wolf.

Honestly I think trying to attribute canon ages to sonic characters was a dumb choice to begin with. Cartroony anthro characters are the only kind that can get away with being ambiguously aged, and imo it's a large part of their timeless appeal.

Sonic ages in general make no sense and don't mean anything outside of cream and tails clearly being young kids. Everything else is completely arbitrary imo.
