Now the wildcard was straight up severe pnuemonia. My oxygen saturation was in the 70s. My lungs were dying off and because that part is pretty straight forward i dont have to say much else about it.

2 weeks approximately of 24/7 retching up litres of bile, untill i settle and can re learn how to eat and drink without several iv drips. So that was the background event that was more expected.

Yeah recovery was great for 2 days, but because my immune system is crispier than an air frier crumb, i have routine gastreoperisis. My digestion stops, all together, for prolonged periods of time, i cant do a quick fix or soft reboot.

So you know why people get the appendix out when it gets a lil infected so it doesnt kill you? I was well passed the stage where it actively kills you.
So, appendix out, now you may be thinking, damn thats rough, glad recovery was so short.

the surgeon was apparently shocked at how bad it was, so thats always fun. It was inflamed, so thats the point most people get it removed, but it had also gone gangreenous and burst.

the intense fevers and pains are just what my body do as standard and i had my flu and covid jabs explain away the fact i was dying of fever. So they did the standard operation,

So my appendix was found to be inflamed and needed removed asap, it had probably been that way for months but as others with ‘high pain tolerances’ - ie people who have had to deal with more than a booboo their entire lives, it went under the radar
