Something I’ve also noticed over the years: people won’t choose to buy either:
One £40 game
Or
Four £10 games.

They’ll buy one or two games. Full stop. They’re in fact more likely to buy the £40 game plus supplements than four smaller games. It’s all about the way people view spending and value.

Now of course I’m not saying “present a 12 page game as 176 pages.” I’m not saying “pad that shit out to make more money”. I’m saying “consider this stuff when you plan a game for sale”

(And there’s way more complexity to how this all works, I know that. But this is a single model of one aspect)
