A WHOLE Nation shouldn't be hated for what some people within that Nation did and or does.

Depends on the writing. Like if Breaking Bad was a book and I read the 2nd Chapter or so where the Cop Brother-in-law let his Nephew (with cerebral palsy) hold the Gun, I'd stop reading.
