Had a 2nd go at @rspb.bsky.social #BigGardenBirdWatch this morning just to see if there was much difference. No drastic difference, though I didn't notice any Siskins or Linnet this morning, but had more Pheasants and Blackbirds (4 & 9!) than yesterday.

Started a very slow reread of The Lord of the Rings, two chapters a week is the goal (I do currently have four other books on the go as well 😂), but I think I have a very fitting bookmark for A Long-expected Party 🤓

#BigGardenBirdWatch done in the calm after the storm this morning @rspb.bsky.social Lots of nervous little finches made the counting difficult, but a Sparrow Hawk paid the garden a visit twice in my hour so that might explain it 😂 Also a couple of Siskins and I think a Linnet as an extra bonus.
