I have a play I could finish.

And star in.

Ehhh...

I long for plays so bad, too. I hate only doing musicals. But nobody does Black plays around here, and the plays they do? Not gon cast me for them.

I'm thinking about LMM-ing and just producing my own work and starring in it. I mean, I'm a writer, too. But that feels like it still won't prove my worth to anyone but me.
The funny part is, during college, I definitely felt I was a better actor than singer. Now, I'm basically just a singer.

Usually, I can sing really well, which is why I still get cast. But lord knows, I cannot fight the anxiety long enough to do well. If it's a longer audition process, I do better, too. Like, if I get past the initial nerves and I get to sing, dance, and read, I do better & get better roles.

I was lucky in that mine only went up $150. But still, that's a huge jump for some people. For someone, that $150 could mean they can't afford insurance next year. It's very scary to think about all of the people who will go without coverage.

It's not her alone, but she's dragging it so hard this album.

Justin Bieber and Drake used to do this a lot, too. You'd be listening to a playlist that has nothing to do with their music and suddenly they'd pop up.

Like, she has the streaming equivalent of payola going on and y'all want to act like she just has all of these organic streams because people love her album. I don't even like her and I keep getting force fed her music.

It goes like this: "When subject does action, that's not adjective: it's verbing the narrative. The descriptive phrase. The fake poetic nonsense metaphor. You're not crazy for saying subject is opinion."
Like, y'all don't hear that?!
