I didn't listen to KISS much and to be honest, as a young boy they kind of scared me. With all the memories being shared upon Ace Frehley's passing I'm literally LOL with his interview excerpts with Tom Snyder. A fine legacy in addition to his music IMO: bringing laughter to people! #RIP

Achievement unlocked just now: while delivering feedback to a digital media graduate thesis candidate whose work connects with ghostly conversations, I was able to logically refer to King Crimson’s 1981 gem Thela Hun Ginjeet.

Back in 1991, David Bowie went to the Pixies/Pere Ubu show at Oberlin College. And the student newspaper the Oberlin Review interviewed him! So great.

I’m thankful that I had the wisdom to NOT sign up for a turkey trot this year.

I’ve managed to slink away from most platforms lately, with the occasional Facebook post about trail running or LinkedIn entry about teaching… so unsure of what I plan to do here.
