I recently had this exact issue. I wrapped it ahead of time just in case it got spotted, and then slipped it inside a garment bag with one of my dresses that was hanging in our closet.

I think I was on Leafcull ^.^ Loved AC1, but when AC2 came out I switched to that and played it right up until the moment they turned off the server.
