Would it be possible for a person with temporary protected status to get one of these? Could that be why DHS won't accept it - because Trump is revoking TPS left and right but people might still have a physical card which shows they have (had?) a right to be in the US? Canadian so unsure of reqs

I think it varied depending on context - I had a new friend come out to me in '86 after only knowing him a few weeks - he was circling the conversation and I told him to give it to me straight and he laughed and said "That's the one thing I can't do"
