I think I've said it before but with how AI is going it seems relevant. Loss is like a wound. It hurts, bad. But if you allow it to heal, it will. It's not sci-fi anymore. This technology could become an existential threat to all of humanity. Not because it's malicious, but because we told it to be as efficient as it could be.
