ye I tried to play prime 1 a few times but bounced off the gcn version cause of the controls, got a lot further in the Wii version but I'm not huge on motion controls
Finally beat it with remastered and it was great, didn't go back to 2 and 3 cause I thought it was an obvious slam dunk on switch lol

I know the last few years have been rough for their pipeline but I can't imagine the concept artists were the ones holding shit up 😭

It's so depressing cause the beautiful handcrafted backgrounds in the other Layton games are part of the appeal, losing that for cheaply rendered slop would be awful
