As I said he didn’t need to stop play as it had already stopped. He could just as easily been checking the severity of the injury. Don’t judge other teams by your own team’s standards (e.g. Martinelli v West Ham)

Actually it is. I smashed my knee a few years ago. First thing I did was to see if I could stand on it. Looked like he was doing something similar

If any part of you is on the pitch you’re in play. Maybe he was trying to get to the penalty area? There was absolutely no excuse for what Martinelli did.

I believe the point here is that not all Muslims are terrorists. The vast majority are fine upstanding citizens just like members of any other religion. You questioning whether or not he was a Muslim or not doesn’t help that point. If you can’t see that, it’s on you, not me.

I read somewhere where someone had the brilliant idea that each year the world’s wealthiest person loses all of their wealth. Now that would be a fantastic leveller. Monthly would be an option worth exploring as well
