Very interesting. Time saved on layout seems like a high ROI - very much so at scale. Makes me wonder how a support wiki, customer service responses, and user manuals (online and print) could all be maintained, and iterated on together with something like that.

Interesting application for this aside from art and games might be user or warranty manuals for physical products - seems like you could maintain physical and online info in one place in an efficient way where periodic printings would always be up to date with the latest edits/feedback.

It’s really just enshitification - but the pinch will hit legacy and midsize firms, consolidate more to big tech, bundling services like cable but with a Bell telephone monopoly and lack of regulation - grim. For Monday-types with new bloat - best case is same rate of profit - in a stable world.

If everything goes up 18% and they all have the same assistant from Gemini or OpenAI in different wrappers - why tolerate your existing providers preexisting broken features/poor support/poor design - etc. when you could switch for better alignment or consolidate with google workspace or teams?

There’s no way if a business is on the verge of switching or consolidating services that they won’t be so as the actual costs of AI try to get passed onto the end users. Some companies got taken for rides and will die when this friction proves off the shelf AI can’t be a true competitive advantage.
